As part of my internship at Johannes Leonardo, I collaborated with a multidisciplinary intern team to respond to the following brief:
Create an evergreen Sprite social approach and content calendar for Q4 2025 to Q4 2026 that connects with Gen Z African American and Hispanic American audiences.
Our concept, “Obey Studios,” reimagines Sprite’s social channels as a behind the scenes creator studio highlighting raw, unfiltered stories from everyday Gen Z “main characters” who are shaping culture and obeying their thirst.
Despite a fast-paced two-month timeline and shifting project dynamics, our team successfully developed and presented the following deliverables:
- Social-first creative platform concept: Obey Studios
-
Project name and visual identity (logo design)
-
Comprehensive pitch deck for internal presentation
-
Q4 2025–Q4 2026 social content calendar
-
Social-first content concepts tailored for Sprite’s channels
-
Creator recommendations for Gen Z AA and HA audiences
-
Production approach with a proposed $300K production breakdown
-
Project timeline and internal recap structures
I led the deck design and logo development, working closely with Art Director Max Dotson, who helped guide the overall visual language. Together, we shaped the project’s visual direction to ensure the concept was presented clearly, cohesively, and with creative impact.
This was an internal learning project and not part of a real client campaign.
Logo
The logo design draws
inspiration from the fizz
of a Sprite can and the
iconic spark logo.
Circular bubbles surrounding
the letters evoke the burst
that escapes when a Sprite
is opened, providing a playful,
bubbly aesthetic.

Additionally, the placement of
the bubbles form a spark-like
outline, an easter egg for
viewers to discover
